DAVENING
Leading our davening this Yomim Noraim will be our Baal Musaf, Rabbi Yosef Singer, Menahel of Mesivta Chofetz Chaim in Queens (see bio above). His heartfelt nigunim and powerful t'filos have uplifted the davening of thousands of mispallelim over all of these years. Our other inspiring baalei tefila include Chaim Kurz and Yaakov Portnoy. Together our chazanim combine to present a set of t’filos on the Yomim Noraim that both captivate and rouse our olam to join in what is always a particularly powerful davening experience. Indeed, time and time again we hear from our mispallilim how they feel their entire year is different because of the chizuk they get from these t’filos on Rosh hashana and Yom Kippur.
SHADCHANIM & SHIDDUCH PROGRAM
Each Yom Tov we invite well known Shadchanim from different communities to be on site and available to meet. Workshops and forums for singles and parents of singles provide insights and advice. Our shadchanim follow up aggressively after Yom Tov to advocate on behalf of those they meet at our Programs. In fact, many successful shidduchim have come about through these Yom Tov Hotel programs! As well, we host events at our programs allowing the singles present who so desire, the opportunity to meet in a productive yet comfortable and dignified setting.
Leading our Shidduch program this Rosh Hashana and Shabbos Shuva (3 day Yom Tov), will be Dr. Chani Maybruch (see bio above) who aside from helping to make shidduchim has particular expertise in the area of counseling dating singles both before and after they find their bashert. We are also fortunate to have with us the successful Shadchan, Rabbi Yosef Singer (whose bio is also above).
